HCG values don’t double at this stage of pregnancy. They are only indicative in the early days (first 6 weeks or so). Usually they say once your level is over 6,000 it no longer doubles. Also, HCG peaks sometime in the late first trimester and will eventually fall and then stabilize for the rest of the pregnancy.At 5 weeks my HCG was doubling fine, but progesterone was an 8 then two days later dropped to a 6. At 6.5 weeks you won’t get doubling every 48-72 consistently anymore. And surprisingly, in a few weeks your HCG will actually decrease!
